Welcome Dr. Danielle Lewis

Clocktower Animal Hospital is pleased to announce a new addition to our team,

Dr. Danielle Lewis

Dr. Lewis
Dr. Danielle Lewis earned her veterinary degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Growing up on a farm and working for many years as a veterinary technician, Dr. Lewis’ passion for animals continued to grow and led her to choose a career in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Lewis attended West Virginia University for her undergraduate degree, majoring in Animal Science. During college she worked as an assistant at a local veterinary hospital. After graduation, she worked for three years as head surgical technician at a busy general practice while also operating a pet sitting service and foster program.

Her goal is to practice sensible, preventative medicine with an emphasis on compassion and client interaction.  During veterinary school she was awarded the Sherrie Clark Caring and Compassionate award. Her interests include internal medicine, ultrasound, and client education.    She enjoys meeting new people and seeing the joy that animals bring to their lives, whether it’s a new puppy or an established member of the family.

Dr. Lewis owns two dogs named Tater Bug and Aslan, and a cat named Sierra.  She currently resides in Lowe’s Island with her family, and is expecting her second child in April.
