Kristina started her journey in veterinary medicine back in 2011. While she has always had a passion for animals, she quickly found her place in the veterinary field, and graduated with her Associates in Applied Science then passed her state boards making her a LVT in the state of Virginia in 2015. She also passed her exam and holds her license in North Carolina making her a RVT as well, for that wonderful day when the sun, sand and waves call her name. In her years as a LVT, Kristina has spent many years in general practice, but has also had the pleasure of spending several years in specialty practices as well. In her free time Kristina loves fishing, preferably off the shore in salt water, but is perfectly happy floating along the Shenandoah as well. Kristina finds joy in spending time outdoors, as well as treasuring time spent with her boyfriend, loving on her very tiny miniature schnauzer, Nellie, and her slightly grouchy chinchilla, Penelope.
